The hip hop artist Dope Truth is a humble paper chaser as he is not only a rapper but a businessman. He’s the owner of No Investor clothing brand, receiving credits from Empire Records, and founder of the dope clothing brand, No Investor are worn by influential hip-hop artists all over the world. He started his journey in the music industry as a former DJ in high school for a couple of years; graduated from Royal Palm Beach High school. He began sharing his personal music.
In 2016 his debut project “No Investor” featuring his hit track ‘Bag’. He uses music as a way to express himself, as it is hard to speak on his life on a personal level he prefers you get to know him through his lyrics. The artist is unapologetic-ally his own person but finds inspiration from influential rap artists like 50 cent, Lil Wayne, and Fabulous. Truth’s sound is Trap inspired, with a gritty flow, and paper chasing lyricism. The rapper believes in not waiting for anyone to do something for you but to make it happen on your own. Dope Truth is a seasoned performer, as he’s opened up for Trap artists such as Future, Young Thug, Migos, Money Man, Rick Ross and more.
When Truth is not working on his music he’s running his streetwear brand No Investor with his partner Steph Too Trill. The clothing line started off as a merch promotion for his debut project No Investor (2016) but received such positive feedback the artist decided to make it a brand. Pieces have been worn by rap artists such as; Boosie, Rick Ross, and The City Girls. The clothing line offers hoodies, joggers, and shirts; with a motto to “Infuse your life with action”.
