Tekashi 69 was reportedly pistol-whipped, kidnapped, robbed and now he is in the hospital.
According to TMZ, everything reportedly went down early Sunday morning after the rapper was working on a music video in Brooklyn. He had wrapped everything around 4am and drove home. Another car reportedly blocked his driveway when he got there.
Three hooded gunmen got out and grabbed him and pistol-whipped him unconscious. He ended up in the backseat of the gunmen’s car, and as they drove around they told him they would kill him if they didn’t get what they wanted, which was jewelry and money.
Shortly after they pulled up to his home while two of the gunmen went inside and reportedly stole $750,000 in jewelry and between $15,000 to 20,000 in cash. Both Tekashi 69’s baby mama and daughter were reportedly in the home but did not get hurt.
After the gunmen left the home, they reportedly drove off with the rapper still in the car, but he was able to open the back door and jump out. One of the gunmen started to chase him but stopped out of the fear of being ID’d.
Sources say Tekashi jumped in the passenger seat of a stranger’s car and asked for help. He was asked to leave the vehicle at an intersection and an ambulance came and he was taken to the hospital where he still remains.
Doctors are reportedly performing various tests, including a CT scan.
