pad with some of the dopest tracks this music scene has yet to hear. Put on to the game at the
age of 19, Mall G’s first steps off the corner and into the booth, hooked him onto a taste of
hustling music with a “Brand New” vibe. Performing on tour with such artists as French
Montana, Max B, Freeway, Bone Thugs and more, it’s easy to see the “Cinematic” lifestyle that
Mall G embodies as he Gets Shit Done (G$D).Mall G first gained notoriety when his premier mixtape was introduced to the world by Max B.
The two went on to work together on such hits as “Oww Owww Owww” and “Flossin”. That
worldwide exposure drew the attention of Multi-Platinum producer Dame Grease of Lox, DMX,
French Montana and Swizz Beatz fame. Dame recognized Mall G’s Up North Records talent to
collab with him on several tracks such as the MTV & VH1 featured “Hands Up”. “Hands Up”
also includes Waka Flocka and Gucci Mane affiliate Frenchie who later signed Mall G, to his
label Protekted Records, through Universal.
Mall G’s latest album, “Definition of a Hustler (DOH)” is just that, heat street stories told from the
mouth of a situation teller. With a lyrical flow in comparison to a young Jay-Z, Mall G’s DOH
album is the blueprint for his movement: G$D (Get Shit Done), and his lifestyle & brand, Loose
Diamonds.. “Definition of a Hustler” features Cokeboy Cheezy Dior, Bigga Threat, The Homie
Redd, Young K, Krystal LaReign, Mosspoint Luck, Hotboy Rod and South Side Nitty. Banger
tracks on DOH include “Whootie Whoop” and “Nobody’s Perfect”.
The end goal for this “Gassachusetts” prodigy Mall G, whose other works include Juicy J,
Nipsey Hussle, Beanie Seigal, Wiz Khalifa and Jadakiss, might just surprise you:
“A lot of people assume I’m from New York and I do love New York, but I rep New England, and
I’m that rapper that puts Boston on the map.”
“Definition of a Hustler (DOH)” now available on Itunes and Spotify
